Andrea and Lanny are Married!!

In New Orleans to boot!! What an amazing way to end my 2015 Wedding Season! This truly was an unforgettable day and a trip! If you have never been to New Orleans I highly recommend putting it on your bucket list, you will not be disappointed. This was my second trip and I would still go back again.

There were so many amazing moments during this day, that I shared a lot of photos!! Andrea and Lanny got ready in the historic Bourbon Orleans Hotel and I have to say that we were a little spooked the first night when a couple in the elevator told us that our floor was haunted, but it added to the experience haha. Their ceremony was held in the also historic St. Louis Cathedral, I’m telling you, this was quite the wedding day. This church is where a lot of people just go to visit and take in all it’s jaw dropping details,¬†and yet Lanny and Andrea got married here and I got to shoot it!! Immediately after the ceremony they had what is called a second line, a cultural heritage of New Orleans, this is where a brass band parades¬†through the streets and the entire wedding follows behind dancing and twirling white linens. This was so much fun!! I really do wish that we had this kind of culture here in Calgary. The reception was held at Tomas Bistro, another amazing location with some pretty amazing food, especially the bread pudding! It may have been because I was pregnant but this was hands down the best that I have ever had. Anyway, enough gabbing scroll down to see just how magical the day was!
